Giri Bapu


A rare chance to see Giri Bapu, the famous siv kathakar, in person at The Hindu Temple Bristol. Giri Bapu regularly sings/preaches on the spiritual-cultural channels Aastha and Aastha Bhajan

Dates : 14th June to 20th June 2015

Time : 4.00 p.m to 6.30pm (Mom-Fri)

Time : 9.00 p.m to 12.30pm (Sat)

Venue: Hindu Temple Bristol

Everyone is welcomed

The Katha will be performed daily between 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm (except on the last day - 20th June, Saturday - when it will be in the morning 9.00-12.30pm). There will be Bhojan Prashad after the Katha.

We are currently looking for an accommodation for Giri Bapu ji and his fellow disciple plus four other people to stay during this period. Why not come in for a guided tour to look around the Temple and learn about many Hindu Gods/Deities? The Panditji (our priest) will be glad to show you around during the opening hours. Students are very welcome. The temple is open for school visits on weekdays between by prior appointment.
