Maha Shivratri – Shivling Abhishek Hindu Temple Bristol As in previous years, a Shivling sthapna will be done in the main hall downstairs. The Mandir will prepare ‘lotas’ filled with water and milk for the use of devotees for Abhishek. Devotees wanting to use their own milk should add a spoonful to the ‘lota’, the rest they should take back home. Please do not bring or leave large containers of milk (two or four pints) in the Mandir. We cannot accept any surplus milk. Falhar prasad will be served. Maha
Saheli Hindu Temple Bristol International Women’s Day Celebration(Ladies only event) Time: 2:00 to 5:00 pm Venue: Hindu Temple, Bristol Tickets: £4.00, to book your tickets, please: Email - saheli@hindutemplebristol.co.uk or send a WhatsApp or Text to Mandir’s WhatsApp number - 07869493855. Please book by 6th March so we know how many ladies to cater for.
Maha Shivratri Havan Hindu Temple Bristol 10:30am to 12:30pm followed by Bhojan Prasad. If you wish to participate in Havan, please let us know by Thursday 14th March – text or WhatsApp us on 0786 949 3855. Havan sewa: £11 per person, £21 for couple. If you wish to do sewa towards bhojan prasad, please let me know. This can be any amount. For Havan, you should bring a small Ganeshji’s murti, Shivling, two fruit items, one coconut, a small amount of change and some flowers – all other Havan samagri (items) will be provided by the Mandir. Please contact Rasikbhai (0791 744 7700) if you wish to be the Yajman for the Havan. Main yajman seva £251. Please encourage younger children to participate in the Havan – Panditji will explain the Havan to them in the terms they can understand.
Holi Hindu Temple Bristol 5:00 pm - Come celebrate Holi.Holika Dahan – 5:30pm, followed by Dhuleti, Mandir will provide colours – please wear appropriate clothes if you wish to participate.

Why not come in for a guided tour to look around the Temple and learn about many Hindu Gods/Deities? The Panditji (our priest) will be glad to show you around during the opening hours. Students are very welcome. The temple is open for school visits on weekdays between by prior appointment.
